xcsh_site_upgrade_status (Data Source)
Observes SMSv2 site upgrade eligibility and waits for explicitly supplied software and operating-system targets to converge. This is a read-only data source.
~> Note: For more information, see the F5 Distributed Cloud API documentation.
Example Usage
Section titled “Example Usage”# Observe upgrade eligibility or wait for supplied software and OS targets to# be installed with the site back ONLINE.
terraform { required_version = ">= 1.0"
required_providers { xcsh = { source = "f5-sales-demo/xcsh" version = ">= 7.3.0" } }}
data "xcsh_site_upgrade_status" "site" { site = "example-smsv2-site"
expected_software_version = "crt-20260201-0179" expected_os_version = "9.2026.17" wait = true timeout_seconds = 7200 poll_interval_seconds = 30}
output "upgrade_converged" { value = data.xcsh_site_upgrade_status.site.target_converged}Argument Reference
Section titled “Argument Reference”-> Syntax Rule: This provider uses OneOf groups for mutually exclusive options. Fields documented as “Optional Block” use block syntax field_name { ... }. Empty OneOf object attributes use field_name = {}; conditional selection uses condition ? {} : null. Boolean attributes (such as add_hsts and http_redirect) use = true or = false.
Spec Argument Reference
Section titled “Spec Argument Reference”• expected_os_version - Optional String
• expected_software_version - Optional String
• poll_interval_seconds - Optional Number
• site - Required String
• timeout_seconds - Optional Number
• wait - Optional Bool
Attributes Reference
Section titled “Attributes Reference”In addition to all arguments above, the following attributes are exported:
• eligible - Optional Bool
Whether the site is ONLINE and each selected target is installed or advertised for upgrade. Software prechecks must pass when software would change; an unchanged paired version does not block a serial software or OS upgrade
• failed_precheck_names - Optional List
Failed software prechecks for a newer software target; empty when the selected software version is already installed
• id - Optional String
The ID of this resource
• os_available_version - Optional String
• os_deployment_phase - Optional String
• os_deployment_result - Optional String
• os_installed_version - Optional String
• ready - Optional Bool
Whether the site is operationally ready (ONLINE), independent of target eligibility
• site_state - Optional String
• software_available_version - Optional String
• software_deployment_phase - Optional String
• software_deployment_result - Optional String
• software_installed_version - Optional String
• target_converged - Optional Bool
• upgradable_software_versions - Optional List
