xcsh_k8s_cluster_role (Data Source)
Retrieves information about k8s_cluster_role will create the object in the storage backend for namespace metadata.namespace in F5 Distributed Cloud. This is a read-only data source.

Example Usage
Section titled “Example Usage”# K8SClusterRole Data Source Example
terraform { required_version = ">= 1.0"
required_providers { xcsh = { source = "f5-sales-demo/xcsh" version = ">= 0.1.0" } }}
# Look up an existing K8SClusterRole by namedata "xcsh_k8s_cluster_role" "example" { name = "example-k8s-cluster-role" namespace = "system"}
output "k8s_cluster_role_id" { value = data.xcsh_k8s_cluster_role.example.id}Argument Reference
Section titled “Argument Reference”-> Syntax Rule: This provider uses OneOf groups for mutually exclusive options. Fields documented as “Optional Block” use block syntax field_name { ... }. Empty OneOf object attributes use field_name = {}; conditional selection uses condition ? {} : null. Boolean attributes (such as add_hsts and http_redirect) use = true or = false.
🔶 High Risk Operations — Some operations on this resource have high danger level. Destructive operations may require confirmation.
Metadata Argument Reference
Section titled “Metadata Argument Reference”• name - Required String
Name of the K8SClusterRole
• namespace - Optional String
Namespace where the K8SClusterRole exists
Attributes Reference
Section titled “Attributes Reference”In addition to all arguments above, the following attributes are exported:
• annotations - Optional Map
Annotations applied to this resource
• description - Optional String
Description of the K8SClusterRole
• id - Optional String
Unique identifier for the resource
• k8s_cluster_role_selector - Optional String
Type can be used to establish a ‘selector reference’ from one object(called selector) to a set of other objects(called selectees) based on the value of expressions. A label selector is a label query over a set of resources. An empty label selector matches all objects
• labels - Optional Map
Labels applied to this resource
• policy_rule_list - Optional String
Policy Rule List. List of rules for role permissions
• yaml - Optional String
K8S YAML for ClusterRole
• expressions - Optional List
Expressions contains the Kubernetes style label expression for selections
• policy_rule - Optional List
Policy Rules. List of rules for role permissions
• non_resource_url_list - Optional String
Permissions for URL(s) that do not represent K8S resource
• resource_list - Optional String
List of resources in terms of API groups/resource types/resource instances and verbs allowed
• urls - Optional List
Allowed URL(s) that do not represent any K8S resource. URL can be suffix or regex
• verbs - Optional List
Allowed list of verbs(operations) on resources. Use VerbAll for all operations
• api_groups - Optional List
Allowed list of API group that contains resources, all resources of a given API group
• resource_instances - Optional List
Allowed list of resource instances within the resource types
• resource_types - Optional List
Allowed list of resource types within the API groups
• verbs - Optional List
Allowed list of verbs(operations) on resources. Use * for all operations
