xcsh_policer (Data Source)
Retrieves information about new policer with traffic rate limits in F5 Distributed Cloud. This is a read-only data source.
~> Note: For more information, see the F5 Distributed Cloud API documentation.
Example Usage
Section titled “Example Usage”# Policer Data Source Example
terraform { required_version = ">= 1.0"
required_providers { xcsh = { source = "f5-sales-demo/xcsh" version = ">= 0.1.0" } }}
# Look up an existing Policer by namedata "xcsh_policer" "example" { name = "example-policer" namespace = "staging"}
output "policer_id" { value = data.xcsh_policer.example.id}Argument Reference
Section titled “Argument Reference”-> Syntax Rule: This provider uses OneOf groups for mutually exclusive options. Fields documented as “Optional Block” use block syntax field_name { ... }. Empty OneOf object attributes use field_name = {}; conditional selection uses condition ? {} : null. Boolean attributes (such as add_hsts and http_redirect) use = true or = false.
🔶 High Risk Operations — Some operations on this resource have high danger level. Destructive operations may require confirmation.
Metadata Argument Reference
Section titled “Metadata Argument Reference”• name - Required String
Name of the Policer
• namespace - Required String
Namespace where the Policer exists
Attributes Reference
Section titled “Attributes Reference”In addition to all arguments above, the following attributes are exported:
• annotations - Optional Map
Annotations applied to this resource
• burst_size - Optional Number
The maximum size permitted for bursts of data. E.g. 10000 pps burst
• committed_information_rate - Optional Number
The committed information rate is the guaranteed packets rate for traffic arriving or departing under normal conditions. E.g. 10000 pps
• description - Optional String
Description of the Policer
• id - Optional String
Unique identifier for the resource
• labels - Optional Map
Labels applied to this resource
• policer_mode - Optional String Defaults to POLICER_MODE_NOT_SHARED
Possible values are POLICER_MODE_NOT_SHARED, POLICER_MODE_SHARED
[Enum: POLICER_MODE_NOT_SHARED|POLICER_MODE_SHARED] - POLICER_MODE_NOT_SHARED: Not Shared A separate policer instance is created for each reference to the policer - POLICER_MODE_SHARED: Shared A common
policer instance is used for for all references to the policer. Server applies default when omitted
• policer_type - Optional String Defaults to POLICER_SINGLE_RATE_TWO_COLOR
[Enum: POLICER_SINGLE_RATE_TWO_COLOR] Specifies the type of Policer Basic Single-Rate Two-Color Policer. The only possible value is POLICER_SINGLE_RATE_TWO_COLOR. Server applies default when omitted
